definetly without... i keep mine between the seat and the console and when i think it might be a problem i just toss it on the dash... had a cop actuall pull me over for it and when he walked up looks at it on the dash and says oops nevermind!

when i lived in maine i got pauled over twice in one day for having mine off idk if its different in florida but imma take it off and find out, theres several cars around without theres so i assume its fine.

it depepends here in utah rather the cop is bored or not, but if its in the front windshield, they feel less inclined to say anything.
