IMO the cobalt sucks, its pretty much a caviler with a turbo. Oh and those babys retail at a lil under 25,000. Which again i would take that AWD STi any day!!!

Re: R/T vs STi
With those parts it'll run high 12's. If he goes to a dyno and gets it tuned it'll get mid-12's with the anit-lag launch turned on.1gnR/T wrote:Not compared to an STi, and no it's not fast, but damn quick for what it is.robert 'bob' paulson wrote:now do you see that your car isn't that fast at all?
I'm putting a full exhaust on the STi today along with a short ram CAI, then it's getting cobb stage 2 More video's of that soon.
Honestly, I'd love an STi for a DD. That AWD launch is just redic.
1.7 60' spinning on street tires, yes.

My buddy did the same thing, but he never got back to the track with it gutted.
I know for $15K you could buy an 04 SRT, get a full 3" exhaust, stage 2 setup with all the bolt ons and go almost as fast, but still, the hole shot is where it is.
When I used to go to the street races all the time I saw a couple STi's run some well built SRT-4's, and the new GTO's. The STi was just eating people alive because it was cutting those 1.6 and 1.7 60's on the street. The SRT-4 ran 12.70's I want to say, and the STi ran 12.90's. But on the street at the end the SRT was still trying to catch up because it would just obliterate the tires off the line. The GTO wasn't as bad, but it still couldn't catch him. 10PSI AWD launch is where it's at. If I had the cash I'd have a talon or STi.
