You call that complaining?
I wouldn't consider that near complaining; just answering someone's question because he asked why i removed it.

But see it as you want.

Getting back on the subject, what was it again... oh yea fog light grap... you know what would be better than splicing and soldering wires together and perhaps melting something or burning you're car down? Use those 3M quick wire taps, like in the picture.

I used them for all kinds of stuff like stereo installs and car alarms. As long as you use them away from water, you'll have no problems with them.

If you do it right, there would be no reason soldering and heat shrinking wires would burn your car to the ground.

Found a link in the "interior" section for the fog light mod:

Just no pics, that's the only problem.

not that it really matters, but that "how-to" looks exactly like the one i saw on the big org a loooong time ago...seems to just be copied and pasted to the interior section here...and IMO, it really doesnt matter, the How-To worked perfectly for me with no soldering, just good clean connections taped up.

it will work just wont stay near as well and also poses as a potential fire hazard

i never heard of anyone mentioning that it could be a potential fire hazard!
the panel doesn't get any warmer than normal...i've been using my fogs like DRL's for more than a year and haven't encountered any problems.

can you please explain in more detail what you mean?

wires come un taped and short something out and POOOOF you got fire lol
it happened to my buddy a while back. its a small chance of it happening but it can.
you should just get a couple of crimps and crimp them together then tape over that. if i didnt have a soldering gun thats what id do. or you could just get a soldering gun and some solder for like 5 bucks

hmmm...i guess maybe i should remove the foglight/reardefrost panel sometime and just check and see that all my connections are still fully intact as when i originally did the mod.
