just do a quick search there was 1-3 threads about this.

The most significant is the rev limiters and the afx/r doesn't read the downstream02.

neaither does the mpp unit. also they both ignore the egr too. the mopar unit is 7200 sohc and 7500 dohn the afx versions run 7500 for sohc and 7800 dohc the race versions are higher yet. the spark advance is greater from the mopar to the race unit. the race unit allows you to run leaded fuel too. each unit will run your car richer. the real advantage from the afx race unit to the mopar is the afx race unit has learning capibilites to learn your motor. i have owned both the mpp and afx and i did notice the diff between the 2 at least in my but dyno. and i could really tell when i sold both units.

Mopar unit does NOT ignore the downstream O2 sensor.

down stream o/2 is for cat monitoring only. cars after 95 will set the lite if it isnt hooked up but as in the stock processor it wont go to backup when it does.

IIRC, the 96-99 mopar ecu will read the downstream o2 but won't throw a code for it. the 95 doesn't read it at all.

no! 8100 rpm was the rare dohc ones. Everything else is 7800 for dohc.

I dunno, not sure on euro pcms. I dont run a cat with a stock pcm. It may throw a CEL but I took my check engine light bulb out anyways.

I don't care if it lights up the CEL like a Xmas tree but I do care if it throws the engine in backup mode.

yes exactly, but if I understand correct, if I use a AFX 95 pcm in my 95 Neon, I can remove the cat without having to change any sensors because it doesn't read their info anyway?

plz correct me if I'm wrong..
