call the tech line at howell. i ordered one of the race versions today after chatting w/the tech guy for almost a hour. heard bad things about their cust. service and such , but i got all the info i wanted and it seemed like he really was intrested in getting me what i needed.
if you didn't break it, you wern't running it hard enough!!!

neaither does the mpp unit. also they both ignore the egr too. the mopar unit is 7200 sohc and 7500 dohn the afx versions run 7500 for sohc and 7800 dohc the race versions are higher yet. the spark advance is greater from the mopar to the race unit. the race unit allows you to run leaded fuel too. each unit will run your car richer. the real advantage from the afx race unit to the mopar is the afx race unit has learning capibilites to learn your motor. i have owned both the mpp and afx and i did notice the diff between the 2 at least in my but dyno. and i could really tell when i sold both units.Skill wrote:just do a quick search there was 1-3 threads about this.
The most significant is the rev limiters and the afx/r doesn't read the downstream02.

yes exactly, but if I understand correct, if I use a AFX 95 pcm in my 95 Neon, I can remove the cat without having to change any sensors because it doesn't read their info anyway?uta_flyinghigh wrote:I don't care if it lights up the CEL like a Xmas tree but I do care if it throws the engine in backup mode.
