Post by Gim H3ll » Fri Feb 25, 2011 12:33 pm

Okay i have a 1998 plymouth automatic neon with 104k miles all stock. The guage cluster skips and will freeze on occasion is it possible to replace my cluster with one that has a tachometer since mine doesn't? or do i have to stick with a cluster without the tachometer???

Solder it. It takes 20 minutes tops. Here's the link with a very good video. I have done 5 clusters already.

They all will swap unless you have a very very early '94 built '95 model.

Buy one from a junkyard, off of ebay, someone on here or the big .org. Don't worry about the mileage because you can swap the odometers.
