OK. Its an 98 sohc. I had the wires frayed on the alternator connector and didn't record their position. Can anyone tell me which goes where. There is a Green wire and a Green with orange stripe. From looking at a couple diagrams I guess the striped wire is the 12v source although that doesn't tell me which position within the connector it lies. Thanks in advance.

this is the wiring I'm after. if I knew what "feed" meant in the diagram maybe it would help me trace back the color of wire since I know the green/orange is a 12v source.

the wire colors are as follows
Dark green/Orange(this goes to the left "Pin/connector")
Dark green(this goes to the right "Pin/connector")
as viewed with the clip part of the connector facing up.
