Strange wires under front bumper

Post by uta_flyinghigh » Tue Feb 12, 2008 8:40 am

There are two wire connectors tucked underneath the front bumper near the plastic spoiler thingy that aren't connected to anything.

I thought they might be the side marker light connectors (non-functional in Euro Neons) but it doesn't fit the US side markers (manged to get a pair over the WE).

Ideas ?

Somewhat. You also have to figure out some way to get the foglight/rear defrost switch panel to work.

I can't explain in great detail how to do it, but I have a funny feeling if you search something along the lines of "How-To: Wiring Aftermarket Driving lights into a non-fog car" probably by some guy named something like "Damnit, Laverty", then you'll be on the right track, assuming that all of the wiring is the same usdm to Euro.

If you need a foglight switch panel let me know as I have an extra one sitting in my bedroom that I'd definately trade for a set of Euro front turn signals :D

maybe, prob still need the interior switch and check to see if the wireings there throughout the whole car.

If not, its quite easy to wire up fogs.....

if you remove yours their should be a extra harness thats cliped to yours that does not clip into anythin on the pack of you panel.. that should be your fog light wiring should plug into your new switch panel.

I could be mistaken, but I believe the euro fog lights are wired differently. In the under hood power distribution center on US models, there is an empty relay spot that is labeled as "FOG (EURO)". My R/T does not have a relay in there (its factory equipped with fogs, obviously).

That's for the rear foglights (mandatory on all Euro cars) :

They're actually very useful in foggy conditions. When I'll have the US tails in I have figure out a way on how to put the fog bulbs somehow.
