1998 red r/t coupe, fully loaded, Madison, WI $2200

Fully loaded red R/T coupe. No stripes. Everything works except A/C.

148k miles
Brand new tires
New "Sunroof Doctor" aluminum sunroof slides. No more cheap plastic (cost me $150)
New Gates timing belt, water pump, Fel-pro headgasket, valve stem seals, head bolts, spark plugs, valve cover gasket, oil change, coolant, thermostat, radiator cap, Gates tensioner pulley, Gates idler pulley.
Brand new radiator and lower hose.
Power locks, mirrors, and windows work flawlessly.
All 4 speakers good, stock cassette player
Steering wheel and shift knob look brand new
Interior super clean
Exterior clean except hood and trunk. Trunk is rusting on lower lip and above driver's side taillight. I've been looking for a good one with little luck so far.
Hood is slightly pushed down above driver's side headlight. Previous owner rear-ended someone going about 5 mph and went under rear bumper. Very little damage to radiator support, can hardly tell.

Asking $2200 OBO. Blue book in good condition is $2230.

I've put about $700 worth of parts on it, no short cuts taken when replacing hg/t-belt.

I may have a lead on a hood and trunk but it's about 80 miles away. Gotta wait till someone can go look to be sure if they are in good enough shape to buy. If I find a good hood, I also have Riddler's old headlights to install.

You are flaming me on neons.org telling me how i'm asking to much and I run across this, wow shows the kind of guy you are.

For $800 more I have a clean R/T stored winters, records, receipts etc. and doesn't have parts on it from 10 different neons like im sure this does, this is stock too lol, mine has all the bolt on's just needs a header, WoW is all I can say.

ya but on your post i noticed you put 3300 FIRM, chip is obo. he only joined in cause i understand your car is clean and all, but you say it in every post. we get it that its clean dude, stop saying it cause its annoying. Ok mr. clean, it was only 3300 firm when I was selling it with the rare 8150 redline a/fx full race ecu, now it's 3000 obo without it, has the mopar ecu in it now.

Learn how to look up a blue book value. Bone stock neons sell easier than modded ones. I've sold at least 15 neons, I know what I'm doing. This is just a "see what I can get" post. I haven't listed it locally as I plan on keeping it as a DD. If someone were to offer me 2200 I'd take it. Otherwise I'm content with it sitting in my driveway. I have receipts too. And carpet.

You still wanna race my purple car? I'm pretty sure you're the idiot that asked me if I wanted to race with my puppy in the back seat. I doubt there are 2 idiots in point with bolt-on black r/t's that think they run 14s.

didnt i read you said somewere that the afx was untested for 7800 or 8100 cause you couldnt rev that high, but now your claiming its a real 8100 afx. if it really is people pay top dollar for those

I really don't feel like wasting my time trying to educate the retarded anymore either, I have better stuff to do and a new car and forums that come along with that and the people are nice and helpful on there, they don't have to try to brag about there neon so it's not a huge fight all the time like on here and the org over a neon hahahahhahahahahahaha. You're only trying to do the "hahaha fail" thing since you can't explain yourself, dumbass.

BTW, prove it's an 8100 ecu. Take a picture of video of it bouncing. Not just a picture of the cluster at 8K since that's easy to make happen.. Until you do, it's a 7800 ECU just like every other one.

If you weren't such a dumbass before, you wouldn't have gotten flamed so bad trying to sell this.

Also, I've had nothing but courteous replies for questions I've ever asked over on .org. However, I'm not a dumbass. But please, if you've got "a new car and forums that come along with that" feel free to NOT post a reply.

Money has it you wont race chip's purple car. It only went 14.6 should be an easy kill for your "bolt on clean ass R/T".

I've gone 14.47 now, haven't updated my sig on here. Untuned too, still figuring out the megasquirt shit so it was running rich and has a conservative timing map in it for now.

He's like the new LackOf. Bolt on r/t that's the fastest, coolest, cleanest r/t in the world. Plus his arguments are stupid and can't come back with anything intelligent. Only "hahaha ur a retard!!11!"

Since I know tour next "I sold my afx so now it won't run a 14.8 like it did on my gtech" excuse, I'll pay for your gas if you run a 15.2 with your car as it sits.

Sounds as if you guys get kind of jealous with people that do have the nice R/T's around that are left, all the cars in the pic in your driveway look like compleat ass imo, how many different parts from different neons are on this R/T lol, I will race you and day with the new car, (13.8 stock) shit don't even have to do any work to beat you, sure you can pay for me to get in how nice of you

and I will give you a 60' head start even, not racing the R/T its fs, you had your chance along time ago and never showed up, and I think it was you who kept talking about your dodge cummins pos or something or another.
