1995 Dodge Neon ACR Challenge Car #18 - KY $5000
I don't want to sell....BUT I'm getting stationed in Hawaii for 3 years and it would be a shame to store it for that long...
Location: Fort Knox, KY
This is one of 20 original Celebrity Challenge cars. #18...white with blue stripes and the original stickers. Read the Challenge History thread if you want more background.
http://forums.neons.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=266966
Specs:
2.0 DOHC
19k original miles
Koni Adjustable Struts w/ Adjustment Knob
No AC
No Radio
No Rear Defrost
Halon Fire Suppression System
Bolt-In Cage w/ 5 pt racing harness for driver
Battery Kill Switch
I had Chuck install a 65% STS with a bed liner textured stock knob. The original shifter is included if you want to put the car back to "stock". There is authentic racing scaring as to be expected from a "race car". Has no mechanical problems....I drove it from Minneapolis to Milwaukee to here.
I'm asking $5000 OBO

The definition of a NEON
A great domestic compact car whose rapidly disappearing taillights are most typically seen through the windshields of Honda Civics, Chevy Cavaliers, and other assorted shitboxes.

I agree, it's one that you should keep, with the history behind it and the racing provenance, it's worth $6500 all day.srt4eh wrote:i've had it for like a year and a half. i'm pretty much set on keeping it
It would be neat if you knew who had seat time in the thing.
