Pics of my Dad's Mopars

Post by Vinny » Wed Feb 14, 2007 12:32 am

I got a request for pics of my old man's shit in my Introduction thread, so here they are. Took me a while to decide if these were more appropriate here or in Pic Post, then I realized I run the joint and it don't matter! :P

He also has a 2003 Harley-Davidson Heritage Softail 100th Anniversary, but I don't have any pics of it up right now. Lately he's tried to get me to sell my ACR for an old Triumph or BSA so I can ride with him.

Everyone always loves the Runner, my Dad calls it his "asshole magnet." He hates taking it out because everyone always wants to talk shit like they know so much about Hemi cars and want to pick it apart. The car isn't 100% original, he knows and don't care. The '64 is the one he likes best, probably because he built that one where the Runner he bought already restored.

The Road Runner has been a part for a little while getting a new clutch, rebuilt tranny, line lock and a vacuum assist pump since the long-duration cam causes the brakes to not work so well. After that's all done I'll finally get to drive it some this year.

The '64 used to rock white 8"/4" cop wheels with late '60s truck dogdishes, the Americans pictured on it above get swapped between both cars, and he just bought a set of 4.5" American dark-centers and black 8" steelies that will get cheater slicks and bead screws, again to swap bewteen both cars.

So yeah, that's how I got into Mopars. As my Mom says "like father like clone."

T5 Bronze FTW! The color generally doesn't look the same in pics as it does in real life.
