Picked this up around X-mas its a 95 NYG neon also has rarer tan interior. Its a Sohc 5speed sport coupe, 4 wheel disc brakes, new clutch, brakes, and tires. It has 183k but doesnt feel like it at all however it needs new door panels and a few other little things worked on but not bad for $1200 plus its a blast to drive.

I ended up doing the water pump and timing belt about a 1,000 miles ago and it seems to be holding up great. However about a month ago I noticed my rear brake was sticking so I decided to take that apart , 1 new caliper, a new set of pads, new rubber lines, and one new metal line its working great now. As for performance I have put on boogers and motor mount inserts along with a iceman CAI, next up is a DOHC muffler I just want to pep it up a bit.

I did another autox a few weeks, the car did great besides boiling my P/S fluid, im going to try a 2nd gen cap and see if that helps along with a heat shield. Im also going to put some 205/50/15 on the car off of my shadow to add some extra grip, the tires that came with it are . I found a 97 ACR at the junkyard, one of the konis is missing but the rest look good it even had the knob and instructions I cant think of anything that would help my car off of it

Latest updates on the car include a Mopar PCM, Auto TB, new rear shock mounts and some mint sport wheels with some slightly used Azenis 615.
All I need now is to put on my black konis, get some new front rotors, and put on my Free EBC yellowstuff brake pads and ill be already for Autox Season.
My goal is to trophy in at least on event this year in ST, I came close a few times last year.

Good deal. I think the mopar ECU is the best mod for a neon ever. I loved it on my old NYG and 98. Gotta get one for my NYG now.

My Expresso Had Tan interior! it is rare, because I have seen over 100 Neons and none had that color. It's swapped to my Red ACR now. I have Black/Red ACR interior in my expresso.

Ya your telling me I have never found another neon in the junkyard with the same color. The only part wrong with mine is my driver side seat bolster, and I might just get a 2nd gen seat to replace it.
