Man. I don't like those tails, but that's just me. Tint them black and see how they look.

Archametes wrote:Yeah I know an ATX won't actually "grab" as hard as an MTX no matter what's done to it. In the future maybe I'll swap it but for now... like I said incase the wife EVER has to drive the car it'll have to be an auto for the time being.
mine grabbed and shifted harder then any MTX ever could.

just dont try and drink something. because it was like that all the time. oh it's time to shift? BAM. it cost close to 1K to build tho...

good luck with the car. get a high stall converter the first chance you get. and not the boss hoss POS's

Talk of ATXs is prohibited on neons.org, it is blasphemy and will invoke the wrath of the MTX elitests.

Yeah I'm not really big on the tails either but: They were free and my stock ones were cracked.

UPDATE:

As of this past sunday the ATX is toast and will now be converted to a 3.94 MTX. (Thanks 1HotNeon) Also the tails are back to factory as a State Trooper claims "the glare off the chrome blinded him so he's giving me a warning to take them off" I opened the trunk on the side of rt.9 and swapped them rght there in front of him! I'm such a smart ass. He kinda chuckled and said "well, I didn't mean right now".

So Vehicle mod list so far is:
Skunk2 Lowering springs
KYB GR-2 struts
Mopar Performance ECU
ICEMAN CAI
TTi Long Tube Header
3.94 R/T MTX swap

NOPE. It died on me 166 miles from home. A nearby member 1HotNeon hooked me up with a new stage 2 clutch and 3.94 from a 99 R/T with 62k on it.... NO MORE ATX. The wife's not too happy but it was the fastest way to get the car back on the road and the cheaper way too. Should be done installing everything tomorrow. Any tidbits of info on bobble struts? which is better solid, semi solid, or stock? I'm laser cutting the mounting bracket at work on Monday or Tuesday....
