Is it normal to paint cars over there with a roller?

Did you do all that work and not fix the dent in the door???

Looks good for a roller, maybe I'll try it on one of the cars I gotta get a hood for, only need 4 hoods

Looks like it worked fine to me. It's just a Neon, why spend more than the car is worth just painting it unless it's something special? Only car I've owned that I'd get repainted professionally would be my ACR and maybe the NYG but that would have required way too much body work.

It's known as the $50 paint job. Hot Rod magazine did an article on it.

Not more than in the US except that I wanted to spend the least possible amount of money just for the fun of it (I figured that I would have it professionaly redone if I messed up - my EJ8 cost €400 to have it painted interior/exterior in ELectron Blue Pearl).

I spent around €30 and used this method :
http://rollyourcar.com/method.aspx

Granted the results are not like my EJ8 but then again, it's a DD banged-up Neon with 93k miles on the clock.

I read that article too, although I don't think they use ppg paint and a clear coat.

They used marine paint which I wasn't able to source over here so I had to be creative (like always when you have a Neon in North Africa).
