Now you need to get some numbers at the track on a good set of slicks. Then we can really see what your car is all about.

Unfortunately, a set of slicks will probably destroy the stock axles on a hard launch. I'm going to try to make it to the drag strip this year, but it will be on street tires.

Yes I have. When I first bought it. I ran a 16.3.

That was the first and only time I have ever raced at a drag strip. I think my reaction time was like 1. 60ft time had to be around 3 or more.

Now that I know how the lights work (I think) and I know how to launch a car, I should be able to do a little better (the extra 180whp wont hurt either). Wheel spin sucks with this car, but I have learned how to control it.

Wow, I haven't updated this in a while. I haven't done much with the car since the initial build, but I have added a couple more parts and tweaked a few things.

I upgraded to MS2 a while ago. Great decision. I mounted the MS ECU in place of the ashtray. Most recently, I moved my battery from the trunk to the right front of the car behind the bumper. I used a Braille AGM battery and mount. The car starts sooo much easier now. I've always thought that I needed to better tune my cranking pulse, but as it turns out I just needed more battery voltage while cranking. The engine fires up faster than it ever has. I will never run another trunk battery again. The Braille battery I went with is right around 17lbs., much lighter than the Optima Red Top I had in the trunk.

I'm pretty sure the Red Top is on its last legs.

Braille batteries are expensive. The battery was $165 and the aluminum mount was another $70. Small batteries that put out a lot of juice are usually pricey.

Very nice build. Good numbers on a stock SRT turbo.
