Why can't you? The car was VERY close to stock when that was taken.

I must confess, That pic was taken by my buddy Ian (Speed Kills) who I sold the car to. He street raced the hell out of it, taking out many a Honda while he had it. :) He lives way out in the sticks with lots of empty roads to do stupid shit like that on, where as I live fairly deep in the city.

hahaha yeah, the fart can was the first thing I put on the car back in '01 aside from a short shifter. When I had it welded on I didn't take the silencer out and I think the packing expanded, so the silencer NEVER came out despite trying a whole bunch. It sounded good though, the silencer kept it from being obnoxious.

That OBX fart can was actually a quality piece, lasted through like 3 Ohio winters without a speck or visible corrosion, and the tone never really changed.

Call me an RB if you must, but if I did an NA Neon project today it would probably have some sort of can on it, I just don't care for most of the mufflers out there that are made for 1st gens.

Everyone hates on my fart can but like you said there isnt alot of mufflers for the 1gen that look good. The only one i like is the thermal and they dont make it anymore and its real expensive

The Borla I used to have on my ACR was awesome, but they only make it with a 2.25" inlet, they make nothing similar in 2.5"

For me it would either be fart can or some other straight-through with a tip on the end. Some of the Camaro mufflers aren't bad, but I really don't care for the transverse mufflers in general nor do I like dual outlets even if they are on the same side. I REALLY dislike the mufflers a lot of 1st gen people have with the outlets on each side, not only do they look like shit they sound like shit too.
