need to be cut in half and need 2-3 inchs longer

I bought the civic type r lip in your link above ^^

I have it here just wating to get my car in spring now does that line right up with the same lenght as the civic or is there modification involved?

if you have to ask your probably dont have the skills to do it in this case.. i would assume they fiberglassed the extra 2-3 inches in and smoothed it out to flow with the rest of the lip
edit: not trying to sound like a dick...
