if your running a stock neon, dont even try. most hondas (save for old junker civics) are pretty much out of box quicker then a stock neon. Ls integras and swapped civics are annoying cause you can never tell.

Dohc neons n civic si's are a pretty close race. If you got a sohc then you need some work usually a b16 or b18 swap will take a few bolt ons to beat.

dont gut it. then your no better than those silly ricers. the point was to keep stock trim, ok cut a little fat, but not gut it. rock out and do some kewl mods and it should be fine. or go all out and try a 2.4t swap or a srt turbo install. i wouldnt mind seeing a ported sohc with mods on an srt turbo setup. has anyone done it? my buddy here has an 01 R/T with a magnum he's doing a turbo swap. waiting for that big time.

Pacesetter ew. Indy is great for turbo. In order for a srt turbo to fit a sohc you have to get the 200+ dollar adapter plate.
