ineed to get my motor built now. Now that i know 13's are doable in a SOHC!

Theyve always been doable. There are many examples. Its just if you can drive and if you can get the power outa your car to do it yourself.

i think so i only saw it once and i was more interested in the motor then the inside of the car

Too bad that's approaching the "doable" limit of a SOHC.

yeah i think his next step is ms then thats about all he can do to bad thats about the same times i'll be lookin at with just a couple bolt ons on the 2.4

Maybe more than a couple bolt-ons but yeah, it's not hard to hit high 13's with a 2.4, and even a 2.0 DOHC. But a SOHC top end pretty much limits how far you can go.

i'm positive my car has 13.60's in it with traction lol and i'm still on a factory base pcm, stock bottom end and old ass nitto drag radials hehe.
one thing i notice, people put all the emphasis on motor. Very few ppl pay attention to getting the power to the ground. Suspension alone dropped damn near a half second from acr suspension to the coilovers.
