Front Left speaker doesn't work
Since I first got my neon the front left speaker on the driver's door hasn't worked. I replaced all 4 speakers and the stereo and it still doesn't work. Is this a common problem? Where should I start looking?

Its common when you push the speaker back in the door, the terminals touch the panel of the door on tha back, causing them to short out. That or you have a wiring gremlin.
WORST case scenario, your head unit lost a channel....

why is that the only way to fix it? you could crimp it or solder it.. where was the wire broken at?

same thing
when i got my neon all the speakers worked but now my left front dosint work at all. the problem started after i put my dodge infinity deck in from a 1992 plymoth voyager. but i get feedback when i put a cd in my new deck if it was a broken wire then where is the feedback coming from? has anyone seen or heard of something like this
Well I just fixed mine tonight by running new speaker wire. I pulled off the door panel and fed the new wire through the rubber bellows on the door, then took out the old speaker wire and removed the white connector that goes inside the car. That was useless now since there was only the speaker wires going to it, no PL or PW. And I just ran it directly to the radio connector and zip tied it out of the way. The stereo sounds great now, there is good front/rear balance. I should have done it sooner, much sooner! The 100w Pioneers in the dors with the 220w Sonys in the back work awesome with the Chrysler cd player, and it looks stock so nobody is going to steal it.
