2nd cluster in 1st gen

i have seen a 1st gen neon with what looked to be a 2nd gen neon cluster in it .. is that possible ??

if it does what kind of work is involved does it have the same connectors ?

and will i be able to use a 2nd gen steering wheel with the airbag ?

Different connectors...and probably a lot of work to make it work.

The steering wheel on the other hand is a lot easier. Just have to rewire the plug for the airbag since they are different
