i have water leaking into my trunk and behind my passenger seat on the floor when it rains hard .

how do i fix this and do i need the replace the carpet?

please help

Its cause of the cheap aftermarket lights you have, you can buy some sealant and put it all around your taillight gaskets. Worked for me. and no your carpet should be fine just very wet, id take it out and give it a nice deep clean.

I used duct tape and it's still dry after about a year now lol. I just covered where my stock ones had sealant from the previous owner.

Or you can buy new gaskets on ebay for about 20 bucks and fix it the right way. It is a major pain to get the lights back off if you use rtv sealant, did it once, will NEVER do it again. When I got my export lights it was a nightmare getting the stock lights off.

i had the same problem bought some gaskets straight from and .org guy thay did the job and you could see the difference
