2gn stearing wheel

Post by acr star » Mon Jul 30, 2007 12:44 am

Does anyone know if you can use a 2gn stearing wheel and airbag on a 1gn? My leather wrap is falling apart..and I can get used parts fairly cheap. That and it would go well with my SRT seats and 2gn center console.
thanks for any help.

Its not asimple plug & play at all. You'll need to swap clockspring connectors if you have a 1st gen. Just splice in the 2nd gen/srt connectors for the horn and airbag onto the 1st gen clockspring. Other than that just make sure you center the clockspring correctly.
