it really is just that simple... but go out and buy some nice drill bits and a deburring tool before you start, if you happen to hit one of those supports just keep stepping the hole until the nut and a socket will fit through the supports.


Just make it look good, you dont wanna be lookin like a ricer with shitty holes and such...

wasnt that bp's problem? hahahaha..... shouldnt be that hard to just drill some holes right and stick some hardware down to get it bolted up. your overcomplicating what should be a simple job. thats just my .02

Hope it turns out "well" for you.

Anyway, I have just the opposite. Five holes in my decklid that are rusting pretty bad b/c the hack installers that put the wing on back in the day, skipped out on the painting the fresh metal part. Now I'll take a grinder to the rust and whatever is left will be welded up. Not to mention that whole thing will need to be painted. The holes in the bracing will be left though.
