Questions about axles, transmissions, differentials, pretty much anything that connects the engine to the wheels, this is the place for those questions.

better pilot bushing

Post by Guard1an » Sun Apr 14, 2013 6:27 pm

Hi all, I have a 2000 neon with a 2002 nvt-350 hyd trans, with '98 eclipse steel slave, and aluminium master, I finally found a '95 non-mod clutch, drove it for awhile, then it started slipping so i replaced it, now its hit or miss but i sometimes get chatter, flywheel was resurfaced when clutch was replaced with stock type perfection clutch, I was getting a rattle with the clutch pedal released, and when applied it went away, so I pulled the trans and low and behold the crappy plastic pilot bushing was just rattling around behind the clutch disc, and you can tell its been chewed up a bit, so my question is there a better pilot bushing/bearing for a non modular clutch ??

Thanks,
-Mike

These video games aren't cheap, and you won't get nearly as much money when you trade in a used game that you have only used a few times.
