Motormite clutch cable Advance Auto..?? wtf? HELP!

Post by keeders08 » Sun Aug 22, 2010 10:13 am

I know ive asked about this before, but advance and auto zone both show this cable for the Neon.. Now why would they do that if it does not fucking work..? I'm bout to go get another one(took the other back) and see how this mofo is supposed to work, if it doesn't im sending those retards an E-mail.

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/webapp ... _267874257___

Thats the link to the part, Auto Zone sells the same exact thing only Luk makes it and it costs 5 dollars more. I had one once, didnt use it because I thought it was the wrong part before I was familiar with the cable clutch... it doesn't have a self adjuster on it, I'm confused by this part. I'd think it would be more consistant than the adjusting one, I could be wrong.

Opinions, facts.. maybe someone whos used one could gimme some input on how they liked it. That'd be sweet.

THANKS!

That's what you get from buying a "clutch cable" from a parts store. There isn't any parts store that I know of that even carries a real clutch cable for a 1gn neon. Modern and the dealership are pretty much all you have left. Or junkyard, but you're taking a gamble there...

Lol, I worded that badly. And I can't think as to what I was going to originally say to cover my ass. Ah well.
