The emanage will turn the check engine light on as well. MS will give you more control over the engine. Neither will be "easy"
. If you've never tuned or turbocharged an engine before, start off with an FMU fuel system and then add electronics when you have more experience.
You will be mostly on your own with emanage, because almost everyone with a turbo 1st gen uses either an FMU or MS.

i should have started off with a fmu.. but since i new i would be boosted more and i do know all the basics and such ms was the way to go for me... tuning it and learning how to use it will be more difficult... but thanks to the many who use it and similar setups running one and getting maps wont be so bad.
