whats the benifit of getting my cam tunned as opposed to just sliding it in and leaving that bad boy alone....
i have my unorthodox cam gear and my crane cam on and am wondering if getting it tunned is going to really make a world of diffrence or if i shouldnt waste my money if it really wont do all that much..
thanks guys

tunning a cam?
Mopar or No Car.
Tunning the cam gear will only adjust your power band.
Will allow for an increase or decrease in overlap.
On an SOHC you can't adjust that.
You can only do it through camshaft phasing.
I 'think' the SOHC application is as follows ...
Advance for lower rpm performance.
Retard for upper rpm performance.
As far as worth it ... ?
How serious are you into making power for your car?
Answer that, then decide yourself.

Get a DOHC head if you want to make good N/A power.
