Wanting to start Building...

Post by 97 Expresso » Thu Aug 06, 2009 3:03 pm

i just bought a 97 Expresso with approx. 180,000 miles. I am either wanting to do a 2.4 swap or just build a 2.0. What do you guys think would be the best way to go about do this build? I am not planning a boost any time soon, but maybe in the future...Also what would be something to start off with( IE. cams, cam gears, ...) I am not sure where to begin.... Any information would be greatly appreciated.

well i would do all your basics, intake, header exhaust, udp etc. they will all swap over to to a 2.4 assuming you got a dohc 2.0

Your car came from the factory with 2 1/4" piping, so I hope you didn't switch to 2"...
