weight redux.

Have a question about how to make horsepower going the all motor route, here's where to ask it.

it is too bad the paint is peeling of on the roof, but imo the blue collor of my Neon is a very nice collor when it is really clean :)

dry ice can be had in most seafood departments of grocery stores and its a quick and easy way to remove the tar for another 20~lbs depending on how much neons have...

its worth noting that your spring rate effectivly changes when lightening a car because theres no longer as much weight as there once was, ive noticed my stock sprung malibu rides a lil bit higher and "bouncier" than a stock malibu but that should change after i hit up bilstien for some custom coilovers

btw... my gf had no problem riding in my stripped Malibu, no carpet, no rear door panels, no passenger trim panels, no air bags no spare, pretty much nothing but belts, gauges and 4 seats, oh, and it has dual side pipes exiting right before each rear tire... its loud as a mofo on crack and shifts like one too... if i can get a girl in that you guys should have no problem in a no exhaust metro runnin on one cylinder with a couple aluminum race buckets

hehe my wife hated my neon before i stripped it, alth0uogh i imagine 1000in/lb rear and 880in/lb front springs on the coilovers made it ride a tad rough.........

Pedals are exactly the same. If they were inverted no one would be able to drive RHD lol ;)

Bringing up this post again, is there any caution to use when handling dry ice ?

YEAH! Dry ice will F you up if you aren't careful. Make sure to wear gloves, and never let it touch your skin.
