ive done a bit of weight redux on my r/t. i got a pass. mirror delete, unscrewed the antennae(dont use radio stations). trunk lid supports cut out. air bag computer gone, fiberglass pass side airbag tray, fmm weight. undercarpet insulation. base model center console, base nonfold rear seat. other small bits and pieces. and it still looks stock:)
Ive removed the side moldings, all the crap under the carpet, emptied out my trunk, AC delete, and some misc metal pieces from my dash. Added some of that back with the rear disc swap and the f & r strut braces. I dont remember what it weighed the last time I weighed it, I should clean it out and go weigh it again to see whats it at.

I tried the dry ice..... it didn't work very well. I used a MAAP torch and scrapers. Mineral spirits got the last little bit. I got a passenger side mirror delete at a junkyard. My interior is completely stripped. The steel bumpers are removed, only the fascias remain.

Take the plastic fascia off. Unbolt the metal bumper. Put the fascia back on. I used zip ties to secure the fascia.uta_flyinghigh wrote:How do you remove the steel piece from behind the bumpers ?
