hu? use the stoch sohc ecu for your car. the dohc puts out a little more timing then the sohc.

what wait you saying use my sohc ecu on a dohc ?, on my 2.4 build if i just use srt4 guts and some head work and crane cams also go with the 2.0 doch hahn racecraft turbo kit do i still use stock ecu or can i up to the mopar one?

Use a stock 2.0L DOHC PCM. You CANNOT use the Mopar Performance PCM unless you use race gas (116+ octane) at all times. There is too much timing advance in performance PCMs to use with pump gas. This will cause detonation under boost.

what you're saying makes sense not to use the mopar ecu, but a lot of people have successfully used the sohc ecu in their dohc build, because it does advance the timing less, ultimately being safer while running a turbo. I would do it if I had a dohc...

Not necessarily true, depends heavily on tuning. If you are just hooking up a rrfpr and calling it a day, you'll have problems. But you could have problems either way.

so what are the differences in using a SOHC ecu on a DOHC besides the timeing...

fuel, rev limiter

bingo.... other wise adding a set of 24 pound injectors will be good.

Uh 24 pound injectors wouldn't be enough with a turbo, unless you really cranked up the fuel pressure I suppose.

yeaim using like 50lb injectors the srt 527cc dont have a problem with fuel
