2.4l turbo tuning? MS or Dtec??

Post by eaks » Mon Jun 08, 2009 10:30 am

hey guys.. I know that the majority of people running turbos going with MS but i was wondering if i could use the turbo XS dtec system? I was planning to piggyback the MS and figured if i was just going to piggyback that i could possibly use the dtec..

Heres what my setup will eventually be:
2002 sebring engine
srt4 internals
2.0 head
srt4 turbo
scs intake manifold
96 dohc mopar race computer or acr computer

just would rather be able to load my tunes and stuff via a gameboy (after tuning with a laptop) rather than with ms where i would pretty much leave the laptop in my car..

Let me know guys!

I think a few people have used the Dtec thing, but you will get much more support if you go with MS. MS has much more to offer than the Dtec ever could.

MS all the way. If you do get ms make sure to get the complete wiring harness for it from rsautosport.com

it makes install a ton easier.

MS is the coolest thing ever. I had no clue about tuning when I got my car with MS. (Ran like shit when I got it) I got it running smooth in a few weeks of playing with it.
