Why is an SAFC II such a bad Idea with a Turbo Neon

didnt really start smoking though until i pushed up around 16 or 18 psi to stock internals and blew my compression rings.

ok so i got a 96 sohc turbo with 29 lb injectors rising rate fuel pressure regulator and a 255 fuel pump was thinking a safc would help me tune in the car a lil better i can get allright afr s with tuning at the fuel pressure regulator but i need more tunability so would an safc be a good idea for me??
