hey....do you have to pull the transaxle in order to remove the engine on a 97 neon??

I not sure if you HAVE to pull the transaxle out with the engine, but when my head gasket let go we swapped my engine and we thought it would probably easier to pull both out together so thats how i did it. you'll have to wait for someone else to tell you, but this forum is pretty dead

1998 Plymouth Neon EX 2-door coupe DOHC 5-speed with Cruise Control
ATX Throttle body, 3.0 intake with K&N filter, Mopar PCM, mopar motor mount with inserts, Booger Bushings, Rear view mirror with dual lights.
