2.4 head
what all would i need to swap a 2.4 head on a 2.0 dohc block and how difficult would it be?

any how, the heads really dont differ, so swaping one is rellatively pointless. but swapin a 01 and later head to a 00 and earlier head is not a good idea, so if your thinkin of swapin an srt head to your 2.0, dont.
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

Depends what 2.4 head you're talking about. There are 3 different 2.4 heads from 95-10. You have the early style 95-99 head that is completely the same as all 2.0 DOHC heads, then you have the bastard AB block heads from 00-02ish, which have early oil passages but later style intake and exhaust manifold flange patterns., then you have 03-10 which had NGC style oil passages and later style intake and exhaust manifold flange patterns.srt4eh wrote:same head....so....same difficulty
