is there a difference?

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons? just anything that is generally "engine" specific.

is there a diff. in a tps for a sohc and dohc?
1995 4 door- 2.4 swap, MTX swap,5 lug swap, CAI, Unorthodox UDP, venom 24 lbs injectors, MSD, Head milled .20, pt valvetrain, Chikara header, STS, SXT interior (Blk), Semi wire tuck, Battery relocate, Cat-PS-A/C delete, Sportlins, New Heads/Turns, and factory shiny paint....(( TURBO BUILD NOW IN PROGRESS))

Yep, the shape of it is different.
The SOHC one has the harness connector at the bottom and the DOHC's is on it's side.

ok thanks..but what i guess im asking is the reading different? i mean can u take a throttle body off a sohc auto, and bolt it rite on a dohc? i was just wondering if they make a diff?

That would work fine. The only thing is sometimes the bolts for the sensor snap off in the throttle body. Soak with wd40 then go real slow when backing those out.
