had to stop the rebuild

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons? just anything that is generally "engine" specific.

Under drive pulleys require shorter belts.

Far right, by the tb is for the vacumm hose for the brake booster. The one right above the starter wire is for the PCV valve line, but I don't see the other one you are talking about.

And the gasket, what did it come with? A full kit or what?

The gasket is for a DOHC intake manifold between the upper and lower portions of the plenum.

I see now, that's for the evap purge port. You should have a hard plastic hose that goes all the way from the passenger side of the car , along the valve cover, and plugs in right there with a rubber "S" shaped vaccum hose.

Ok starting to not like this rebuild, first of all im leaking oil and coolant, from around the same area but not the same spot, oil's coming from the top of the cam pos sensor and still have yet to find the coolant leak, im guessing my friend over tightened the bolts for the sensorImage.

Next does anyone know where this sensor goes, we've looked everywhere and can't find it its sitting by my valve cover ImageImage.

And lastly for now, im thinking this is the right spot for the knock sensor if this is the knock sensor, and if it is why does the connector for it not hold itself on very good?Image
thx again
