99???

This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons? just anything that is generally "engine" specific.

Another question: Was the 94 the same as the 95. I know they make cars about a half a year before their name but was anything different?

I would say cryo treated, but what would be the point for that?

ya, he is na, witha 150 (for now)shot , fully built bottom end, running drag radials. Once he blows his axles he will save up and get some of those as well. You sure do like to jump to conclusions about statements.

1.8 was export only.

TLEV was still 2.0 but detuned with a reduced compression ratio, available in California, Massachusetts and other emissions states.

Now I have not seen one of these export 4.12 trannys, but I highly doubt there is much difference between that a standard NVG T350 as it is illogical from a cost perspective (why make two trannys for the same car/engine that use the same diff assembly in different ratios?) There is the hydro clutch used on RHD cars, but those were pretty much limited to UK and Australia, and even then it should only be a different bellhousing at most. I could be wrong though, I'd love to see more info.

4.12 is way too much gear for any sort of power adder in these cars. I was pushing the edge of usefulness with a 3.94 and 5psi.
