This is the place to ask questions about your engine components like cams, valves, pistons? just anything that is generally "engine" specific.

tell me if my set up is good?
450cc dsm injectors
255 walbro highflow pump
spoolboy mod
10:1 fmu
adjustable fpr set at 45 psi
safc(mostly to set low rpm base idle because of the giant injectors)
t3/t4 63 trimm turbo(set at 10 or close to it)
99 r/t tranny with phantom grip (lsd) and welded diff pin
motor mount inserts
and 1 degree colder plugs, let me know?

you need to def go with a build block, anything over a 50 trim will kill stock bottom ends real quick

only run 10 at the track, you should really not be running more then 7-8 on a daily basis, and even less then 8 can push it, i have a block with a hole in the side of the #3 cylinder wall from a bent rod caused by only 6 psi

so if i go "built block" direction, can i just buy the stroker kit from howell, and be safe with that?or does it HAVE to be forged?

from experiances with howell is a big no no...check out modernperformance i also believe easier to interpret over howells site and i've heard a lot of negative feedback...with the rebuild modern sells you can chose for an 8.8 to 1 compression which would be great on your turbo
