injectors and misses

Post by 1genRTturbo » Sun Feb 12, 2012 9:31 pm

so, i got a set of srt stage1 inj the other day, and tried to install them on my 2.4 today. installed well, but when i ran it it ran so pig shit rich that i could barely accelerate. now the question is, when i turbo this how do i fix that, because these injectors are going back in. and i am also having an issue with a missfire, but will it be the cylinder its telling me or a different one because of the way the wiring had to modified?
It's not the fall that hurts, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

You need to pull fuel trim using some sort of engine management. Some use an SAFC, but with that size injector I think you will need an AEM F/IC, especially since you plan on turbocharging it later. You could try lowering fuel pressure, with an adjustable fuel regulator, but again, when you boost it, you will need some way to add boost compensation for the injectors. F/IC or RRFPR are good for that.
