As long as the motor is pre '03.

when my race cars 2.4 motor was built the balancing shafts were taken out should they be put back in before i put the motor into my project car.
1995 neon $300 + dirt track 1995 dohc 2.4 swap neon with 300+ hp abs disk brakes front and rear sway bars = ferrari

no. junk those pieces of shit! sure, it shakes a bit more then it would, but its way worth it NOT to have them. its a power robber. on the big org there is a whole thread to building a 2.4 and all the things and tricks to make it better. and either get 01-03 or a 00 and below, but make sure block and head are a mated pair.

thanks, the motor is already built there are no shafts in it as is. just have to put it into my other car.
