that park was really hard to find i asked people at the gas sation and they never heard of it and google maps did not give good drictions you should post dictritons for every one and also say the park is in a houseing addition
Yeah lol. We had this discussion on 2gn the other day. I almost gave up looking for it myself, never thought it would share an entrance with a subdivision. I really like how it was setup though, shelter close to the parking lot and lots of shade. I still have a couple parks to look at but none of the others have a parking close to the shelter it's kind of stupid really. Northwest park has a little horse shoe that goes to the shelter there but it has no parking signs all around it. I may ask them if we can bend the rules and park on that because it would be perfect. And there is a dirt track in the woods I could take my R/C cars to after everyone leaves :P If we do University park again I will put up an Indy Neon Meet sign or something. It is getting close I need to get on the ball.

I think it will be, I would like to be optimistic about the turnout but its close enough people should know whether or not they will be coming and they aren't saying speaking up yet. I am going to look at a different park today. My girlfriend said the shelter there has its own parking lot.

Sorry I didn't get to look at parks this weekend. The lack of interest is killing all my motivation. Only 3 people coming for sure. I may just take a gamble and hope there is an open shelter at the park. Come on people!! This is barely going to be worth getting out of bed for.

Me you and Gramps. Ian asked for the day off but said he wasn't sure if he was getting it off. Newlitemotorist says he is coming but that could change anytime. August is 99indiana's busy month at work so he is unsure if he will even be able to come. DOHC5sp2dr says he is going to do everything he can to attend but can't say for sure. More than likely Ian and newlitemotorist are coming so it makes 5 I guess. I pm'ed others on the list but haven't heard anything yet.

Newlitemotorist just told me he is coming. Drifterz73 said he has the rest of the parts for his tranny swap on the way so he should be there as well. Maybe 7.

That works the best probably. We will shoot to start cooking around 2pm since we possibly have 3 people driving 3 or more hours. I will be there before then if people want to show up early. If the people that are making long drives or anyone coming for that matter want to pm me for my phone number that would be fine. In case you are running late for any reason we can hold off on the cooking.
