Quaife diff.

Did you buy a part and think it was awesome, or did you think it was a piece of crap? Let everyone know here so we know not to buy the same product.

Quaife diff.

Post by fusion210 » Sun Feb 18, 2007 1:55 am

Came installed on the car!

Pros: Double your neons value!
No more diff pin worries, whew!
Put that power you actually have down better.
I suppose doing burnouts is part of the no diff pin worries, but it's not something I'd try.

Cons: Double your neons value!
Installation. Taking the trans out and then seperating it from the bellhousing and messing with shims if needed.
Adds more weight, I seem to remember 5lbs being tossed around on .org
With more weight comes more drivetrain losses. Probably pretty miniscule.

I would *not* dare substitute the obx. Either buy a new quaife or score one used.
