Wouldn't that quiet it down a lot? Do you think the glasspack would make it deeper sounding though?1genRTturbo wrote:adding a glass pack may not be your answer. a resonator may be what you need.

Adding a glasspack to my exhaust??
Hey guys, as of right now I have stock piping except for a Flowmaster 40 series muffler on the end. I've gotten stopped by the police a few times for it being too loud and want to do something about it. Since there is a straight piece of exhaust in the middle section of the car, couldn't I just cut ...

I think sxt wheels are 16's so you should be okay, the bolt pattern is the same, just make sure the tread on the tires is good so you don't have to worry about new tires for a while. If the tires are in pretty good shape I'd say $250-300 would be fair, otherwise $150-200, I live close to Orlando FL...

SXT rims on my 1st gen?
I want to buy some SXT rims from craigslist but I want to know if they'll swap right over easy. I do have the 5 lug bolt pattern. I don't want my tires to rub either.. also, what would be a good offer to pay for these rims?

Clutch pedal only goes half way down sometimes?
Hey guys, recently I've been having trouble with my clutch. I go to press down the pedal and it will only go about half way down to the floor and I'll have to release the pedal and push back down maybe 1 or 2 times until I can get it to go all the way to the floor so I can switch gears. It only seem...

So i pay $60 for that cold air intake, when i can pay a $1.50 for a 3.0 intake tube? Most people can't get a 3.0 intake tube for 1.50... I got mine for $3, and got a few of them months ago for $5. I doubt this intake would be $60 from the junk yard.. Problem, is that how many of these cars are in t...

Someone might want to try their luck and see if it fits by buying the chrome intake piping kit for this car off Ebay. It'd look sick if it fits.

Re: just put header on, but a leak at the donut!
If you're talking about what I think you are, it's that donut thing after the cat? I've had 2 Neons and seen another one I was going to buy where they all leaked there. My fix: remove and replace with a straight piece of exhaust pipe (weld it preferably)

Wow, that's not a bad price. I'm looking at DEPO projectors. I really want them. My buddy has a set of DEPO black replacement ones though. Who knows, maybe I'll get my buddy's replacements. Which ones on eBay did you get? That'd be sweet if you could get those projectors, I had some on my other Neo...
