That's a possibility. Only way to find out is with a wideband or on the dyno. It should be okay. Mopar PCM's really like to fatten up the fuel curve. Safe gambling would be bump up the fuel pressure a few lbs and then tune accordingly. More gas is better than no gas. Buy a wideband. It's your best f...

Cams will swap in just fine. Worst thing that will happen is you may have a pig rich idle and smell like a gas station. You may run into a "searching for idle" issue due to low vacuum and fat idle. It won't hurt anything, but your ego. If that bothers you, you can get a SAFC or equivalent and back o...

Also, I have a spare cam that is "supposed" to be a Zex nitrous/comp cam. There is not marking on this cam either. The only marking on the cam at all is in the middle of the cam and it says L-10. I have a friend with a Comp 400 and it is etched and marked with the grind number as you posted in you p...

Apologize for the n00b question here, but by cast, do you mean the serial engraved on it?

Okay. Cool. I'll check it out. Do you have any insight as to the camshaft identification?

I actually don't know where that is... I'm only familiar with the throttle stop location. Could you please explain?

Cam Identification

It is to my understanding that when looking at a Crane cam that the "L" number in the center of the cam, between lobes, is the series of the cam, as in L-14 will be a Crane 14. Can anyone verify this for me? Reason I ask is I bought a 95 Neon and I'm sorting out what all has been done to the car. Th...

Stock sr20 t25 question

I bought a Garrett t25 turbo off of a stock sr20det Nissan motor for my turbo project (95 Plymouth Neon SOHC MTX). The only way I can mount this turbo is upside down, i.e. wastegate up/oil feed on bottom/oil return on top, if that makes any sense. Can I run the turbo this way and not choke the turbo...

Okay. So the CEL has been randomly coming on, but staying off most of the time. Also I took the car to the drag strip this weekend and with the warmer weather the car was up to normal operating temp and redline was 7400 rpm all day at the track. Car was running strong too. Strange I know and I appre...

Okay... So flashes counted shows 12, 21, 44, 23, and 55. Am I correct in my assumptions that this is IAT sensor out of range, O2 up or dowstream out of range, and battery temp sensor? I am in the process of moving the old downstream to upstream position and testing. I will keep you posted.

I do understand. From my observations, it was either 4 flashes pause 2 flashes or 2 flashes pause 4 flashes. Also there is a long pause, but I cannot remember the flashes.

Thanks for your replies. Oddly enough the EGR is blocked off and down stream O2 has been unplugged since I bought the car so I installed my wideband in the bung. The CEL does come on and go off. Usually more on than off though. I'm not 100% sure how to read the flashing CEL with the 5 on/off cycle, ...
